Abstract

ABSTRACT
Muara Gembong waters in Bekasi Regency, West Jawa, is classified poor and degraded water quality. However,
Muara Gembong waters is still a mainstay for fishermen to catch fish. The distribution and abundance of fish stock
depends on the availability of natural food such as Chaetoceros spp. The purpose of this study was to analyze the
abundance of Chaetoceros spp. and the relationship with various water quality parameters in Muara Gembong. The
study was conducted in March for the rainy season and July 2018 for the dry season, at 20 stations. The research
method used is descriptive for exploration. The results showed that the abundance of Chaetoceros spp. in the waters
